Table 3 – Employment Profile

The table shows the occupational profile of Milton Keynes to be similar to the profile of the South East and Great Britain:

• Over 4 in 10 of the resident workforce are employed in professional, managerial or technical positions
• Just under a quarter are employed administrative or skilled trade positions
• 1 in 7 are employed in personal service, sales or customer service positions, and
• 1 in 6 are employed in operative or elementary positions
