Shaw Stone & Webster - part of one of the world’s largest technology, engineering & construction groups, expanded its interests in Milton Keynes significantly with a 200% increase in employees.
Coutts & Co - the international private banking arm of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, demonstrating particular expertise in financial planning for clients with an international asset base and opened a branch and offices in Central Milton Keynes in May 2006.
USIL - a Hong Kong-based cutting edge research and development company that has developed a cathodic reverse osmosis system for removal of water molecules which is in use all over the world, including on the London Underground and at the Thames Barrier. USIL opened its UK Headquarters in purpose-built offices in Milton Keynes in April 2006.
TradePro Holdings - the UK’s leading provider of financial services to the construction sector. The company moved their headquarters from Northamptonshire to Milton Keynes in March 2007.
EuroConex - a US-owned company that provides European merchants with a secure, cost effective and comprehensive card payment processing service. EuroConex moved its UK operation out of London and into Milton Keynes in early 2007.
AsdaWalmart - the international supermarket retailer opened its biggest European store in December 2005, creating 800 jobs.
B & Q - major DIY retailer, opened a 2nd store in the city in June 2005 together with a national training centre, employing a total of 250 staff.
Spinal Injuries Association - the national organisation for spinal cord injured people, completed its £1.8 million national headquarters in Milton Keynes in June 2005.
Luminar Leisure - the largest operator of licensed late-night venues in the United Kingdom, including Chicago Rock Cafes®, moved into new headquarters in the city in December 2005.
Rightmove - the company behind the UK’s leading property website, moved into Milton Keynes in May 2005 and has already experienced significant growth, increasing staff numbers by 50% in just three months.
IKEA - opened its revolutionary Milton Keynes store in December 2005, creating 500 jobs.
Brioche Pasquier - France's leading pastry and brioche maker (and quoted on the Paris Stock Exchange) opened a regional office in the city in 2005.
Valley Industries Corp - a leading global supplier of quality tools and equipment based in Paramount, California and one of North America's most prominent tooling distributors, established its UK and European distribution centre in Milton Keynes in 2004 and expanded into larger premises in October 2005
