Inond: Who they are
Inond is a product realisation company based in Milton Keynes. Founded in 2023, the business helps organisations of all sizes transform ideas into real, working products. The name “Inond” comes from the founder’s surname, Klewpatinond, reflecting a personal connection to the company and its values.
What they do
Inond manages the full journey from concept to prototype and pre-production. Their work combines strategy, design, engineering, and manufacturing, all under one roof. Unlike many design firms, Inond also builds in-house, creating proof-of-concept models and physical prototypes in their own workshop.
The company works across sectors including sport, fitness, health and wellness, construction, DIY, and sustainability. Every project begins with two questions: “Why?” and “Who?” This approach ensures products have a clear purpose and deliver real benefits to the people they are designed for.
Why Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes offers Inond a strong business community, excellent transport links, and a location within the Oxford-Cambridge corridor, making it an ideal base for innovation and growth. For founder Benn Klewpatinond, the city also has personal significance through long-standing ties to the Milton Keynes Rowing Club, where he has been a member since 2010 and served as club captain. The club’s Elite Black Carbon 8+ boat was named after his eldest daughter, marking a proud personal milestone and a lasting connection to the community.
Achievements and future plans
Inond has already worked on projects with sporting figures such as Sir Steve Redgrave and Anthony Hamilton, father of Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. One of their early successes, FloatRower, began as a simple concept and was featured in David Lloyd Clubs nationwide. They are also partnering with the Para Rowing Foundation to design a universal fixed seat for rowing, making the sport more accessible for athletes with disabilities.
The company’s work has been recognised with the Design & Creativity Award at the 2024 Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards and as a finalist at the Innovation Awards 2023. Looking ahead, Inond is expanding its team and launching a membership programme for early-stage founders in 2026, offering practical support for those not yet ready for full product development.
